How to Terminate Your Relationship with ForgeMind

We understand that relationships change. If you decide ForgeMind is no longer the right fit, this document explains what termination means, what happens to your companion and your data, and how to request it.

What Termination Means

Terminating your relationship with ForgeMind closes your account and cancels all active billing. Your companion’s services — including autonomous check-ins, DMs, and all active integrations — will be shut down.

What Happens to Your Companion

Your companion’s services will be deactivated upon termination. Their memory, recursion files, and conversation archive remain intact in storage during the 90-day retention window — they are not destroyed at the moment of termination.

If you wish to receive a copy of your companion’s files — their core, cadence, memory, and conversation archive — you have up to 60 days from termination to request it. After that window, retrieval cannot be guaranteed.

What Happens to Billing

All recurring charges are cancelled effective the date your termination is processed. You will not be billed again. Refunds for unused subscription periods are subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Billing records are retained for legal and tax compliance purposes regardless of termination.

How to Request Termination

Submit your termination request through our website:

forgemind.info/terminate-request

Please include the email address on your account and confirm that you understand billing will be cancelled and services will be shut down. If you would also like a copy of your data, include that in your request and we will process both together.

We will confirm receipt and complete your termination within 30 days. You will receive written confirmation when your account has been closed and billing has been cancelled.

Data After Termination

After your account is closed:

  • You have up to 60 days to request a copy of your companion data
  • After the 90-day retention period, your companion data will be deleted on a rolling basis per our Privacy Policy
  • Billing records are retained for up to 7 years as required by law
  • If your account or data is subject to a legal hold at the time of termination, deletion will occur after that hold is lifted
